Mississippi State Opens Football Season Against ULM at Davis Wade Stadium

STARKVILLE, Miss. — Mississippi State University begins its 2026 college football season Saturday night with a home game against the ULM Warhawks at Davis Wade Stadium.

Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m., with a full schedule of gameday activities starting early in the morning. Parking lots open at 8 a.m., followed by the Coca-Cola Fan Fest at 2:30 p.m. and ticket office openings at 3:30 p.m. The Dawg Walk begins at 4:20 p.m., and stadium gates open at 4:30 p.m.

Fans can participate in photos with Bully, the university’s mascot, at the Coca-Cola Fan Fest from 4:40 p.m. The Famous Maroon Band will perform the pregame show at 6:10 p.m., followed by the national anthem at 6:15 p.m. The team will enter the field at 6:25 p.m.

Mississippi State encourages fans to transfer or sell their tickets through SeatGeek, the official fan-to-fan marketplace. Single-game tickets for the ULM game are available at hailstate.com/tickets.

The university has announced new upgrades at Davis Wade Stadium for 2026, part of a multi-year investment to enhance gameday experiences. Last year, Mississippi State invested $9 million in stadium improvements.

Broadcast coverage includes ESPNU and streaming via the ESPN app, with commentary from Doug Sherman, Tom Luginbill, and Lauren Sisler. Radio broadcasts are available on MSU Sports Network, SiriusXM channels 179 and 229, or through the SiriusXM app, with Neil Price, Matt Wyatt, and Jay Perry providing commentary.
