Alcorn State University will host Texas Southern University in a football game Saturday at Jack Spinks – Marino Casem Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:05 p.m. on September 26, according to the university.
Fans attending the game are encouraged to follow designated procedures for parking, tailgating, and stadium entry. The campus will open for parking at 8 a.m., with signage indicating accessible parking areas. Fans should display their hangtags and park in their assigned areas, as vehicles parked improperly may be towed at the owner’s expense, officials said.
Main entry gates will allow access only for general tailgate passes, reserved tailgate, VIP, premium parking, buses, RVs, and ADA parking. General tailgate passes are sold for $65, while general parking passes cost $35. Tailgating is permitted only in designated areas with a valid tailgate pass, and setup begins at noon Friday. Post-game, general parking and tailgate areas must be vacated within one hour; reserved tailgate visitors have two hours.
The stadium will open two hours before kickoff. All guests must adhere to the clear bag policy, which permits only clear plastic bags up to 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches. Non-clear bags must stay in vehicles. Mississippi High School Association passes will not be accepted for entry.
For accessibility, designated ADA parking is located across the street from the stadium. A complimentary shuttle service will operate before, during, and after the game, with pickup at the stadium’s home side. The university allows golf carts during athletic events but restricts large side-by-side vehicles and children under 16 from driving golf carts for safety reasons.
Emergency medical personnel will be stationed throughout the campus and stadium. In case of emergencies before gates open, fans should contact security or call 601-877-3000. Medical bags are permitted but subject to search, and re-entry is not allowed at the stadium.
