Mississippi State men’s tennis secures second seed in SEC Tournament
BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas — No. 6 Mississippi State men’s tennis secured the second seed in the SEC Tournament after an 11-3 record in conference play, the school’s second-best SEC win total since 1993, according to athletic department officials.
The Bulldogs clinched their spot with a senior day victory over Alabama. They trail only 12-2 Texas in the SEC standings. LSU and Oklahoma rounded out the top four seeds, respectively.
Mississippi State will begin tournament play Friday, April 17, at 2 p.m. at the Mitchell Tennis Center. The opponent is yet to be determined, with potential matchups against South Carolina, Ole Miss, or Tennessee in the quarterfinals.
Spectators can access full tournament details on the 12thMan.com website. Parking is available in Lot 100d near the Mitchell Tennis Center or across the street in Lot 100e, near Reed Arena. Concessions are located on the upper-level grandstand at the venue.
The tournament adheres to the Texas A&M athletics’ clear bag policy. Tickets, available through the 12th Man Foundation Ticket Office or by calling 888-992-4443, are digital-only and must be shown on a mobile device for entry. Ticket prices range from $6 to $35, with discounts for youth and SEC students. Children under 2 may sit in general admission without a ticket.
All-Session general admission tickets cost $35 plus fees. Single-session reserved tickets for the Stadium Club are $15 plus fees. Everyone, regardless of age, requires a ticket to access the Stadium Club, with exceptions for children under 2.
