The Millsaps College men’s and women’s track and field teams are traveling to Danville, Kentucky, this weekend to compete in the 2026 Southern Athletic Association Indoor Championships. The event is held inside Champions Hall, with live video and results available online, according to the college.

The Majors will have 18 athletes competing across various disciplines. On the men’s side, four sprinters will participate in the 4×400 relay: Aidan Brice, Wyatt Wheeler, Nick Price, and Frederick Fluker Jr. Brice will also race in the 60 meters and 200 meters. Wheeler will compete in the 60 meters, 200 meters, and 400 meters, with a season-best 54.97 seconds in the 400 at UAB. Price will run the 60 meters and 200 meters, with a top time of 7.22 seconds in Birmingham on Feb. 6.

Fluker is set to compete in the 60 meters, 200 meters, and 60-meter hurdles. If he maintains his season-best 10.01 seconds in the hurdles, he could reach the finals. The men’s distance runners include Mason Castleberry in the 3,000 and 5,000 meters and the 4×400 relay, Dallas Stricker in the 3,000 and mile, Benjamin Sylve in the 800 meters, and Greer Hernandez in the 3,000 and 5,000 meters. Hernandez, the SAA athlete of the week last week, ran a 9:07.81 in Birmingham, ranking 22nd nationally.

The men’s team also features five throwers. Michael Cosgriff, Jacari Watson, and Sean Wyers will compete in shot put and weight throw. Wyers recorded a top shot put throw of 41 feet 4.5 inches (12.61 meters) in January. Carter Davis will focus on the weight throw, while Dillon Duley competes in the shot put, with a best of 34-9.5 (10.61 meters), ranking 26th in the SAA.

On the women’s side, five athletes will compete. Fiona Selders will participate in the 60 meters, 200 meters, and 400 meters. She ranks 14th in the 200, 21st in the 400, and ninth in the 60. Her season-best 8.08 seconds in the 60 meters could give her a strong chance to make the finals. High jumper Katie Brown is in position to reach the finals with a top jump of 1.45 meters, ranking seventh in the SAA. Elanor Scott will compete in the high jump and triple jump, ranking seventh in the triple with a 10.37-meter jump.

The women’s throwers include Vivian Jordan, who will compete in shot put and weight throw, and Amari Jackson-Wright, who will also participate in both events.
