Reily Rogers, Dickson, Tennessee — The Delta State men’s golf team finished seventh at the 2026 Gulf South Conference Championships at Greystone Golf Course. The team shot a three-round total of 893, or 29 over par, in the event held this week.
The team posted its best round in the final day, firing a 292 (+4). Senior Peter Blazevic led Delta State in the third round with a 71, one under par, bringing his three-round total to 224 (+8). Blazevic finished tied for 25th place alongside freshman Gonzalo De Minon, who shot an 80 (+8) in the final round.
Blazevic recorded five birdies during the final round, including three on the front nine. He also shot one under par on the back nine. Freshman Cooper Jones and junior Niko Salmi each carded a 72, even par, in the third round. Jones had three birdies, while Salmi recorded two during the final day.
The Gulf South Conference Championships marked the conclusion of Delta State’s 2025-26 golf season.
