Tishomingo County picked up a huge road win on Tuesday to move into a first place tie in division 1-4A.
On top of the significance of moving atop the division leaderboard, the 8-2 win also snapped Ripley’s 26 game division winning streak.
The Braves got a stellar effort from pitcher Charlie McAnally who stuck out 11 Ripley batters and scatterd 5 hits on the night.
The win moved Tish to 8-8 on the season and 6-1 in division play. They are back at it against Ripley on Friday in what will essentially decide the division champion.
