Two Senior Defensive Lineman Announce Return to Ole Miss

The good news continues to flow in for Lane Kiffin.

Two days after an upset victory over #11 Indiana in the Outback Bowl, senior defensive linemen Sam Williams and Tariqious Tisdale both announced they would return to play for the Rebels in 2021.

Obviously, this would usually not be possible. However, both Williams and Tisdale are taking advantage of the NCAA not counting the 2020 season against all player’s four years of eligibility.

Both returns are vitally important for Kiffin and company. The experience will help prepare what should be an extremely young defensive unit.

Williams returns as the leading man in sacks the last two years for the Rebels with six in 2019 and four in 2020.
