Ole Miss women’s basketball coach Yolett McPhee-McCuin remains busy assembling the 2024-25 roster, as she announced the addition of guard Tameiya Sadler from Colorado on Sunday.
“The addition of Tameiya on our roster was integral,” said McPhee-McCuin. “She’s dynamic and fits perfectly in our system. We are excited to welcome Tam and we know that the Oxford community will embrace her right away!”
Sadler comes to Ole Miss after spending three seasons at Colorado, following her freshman season at Washington. With the Buffaloes, Sadler averaged 5.2 points per game, and totaled a career-high 5.5 points per game this past season. En route to the program’s second straight Sweet 16 appearance, Sadler appeared in all 34 games for Colorado in 2023-24 and made 10 starts.
In her lone season at Washington, Sadler totaled a career-best 23 points against BYU and became the first Husky freshman since Kelsey Plum to score 20 points in back-to-back games. Sadler led the Huskies in assists in 2020-21 with an average of 2.4 dimes per game.
The fourth addition for the Rebels out of the transfer portal, Sadler joins an Ole Miss roster that returns eight from its third straight NCAA Tournament appearance. Two freshman join the team as well in Heloisa Carerra and Sira Thienou.
