Ole Miss Men’s Tennis Opens Fall Season with Wins at Milwaukee Classic

Milwaukee, Wis. — Ole Miss men’s tennis began its 2026 fall season Friday at the Milwaukee Classic, securing several victories on the opening day, according to university athletics sources.

Igor Kudriashov advanced to the singles quarterfinals after winning both his matches. He defeated Nicholas Patrick 6-1, 6-1 in the Round of 32, then beat Oscar Corwin 6-1, 7-5 in the Round of 16. Kudriashov and junior Kai Milburn also won in doubles, defeating Balthazor and Patrick 6-3. The duo entered the tournament ranked 58th in the preseason ITA doubles rankings.

Milburn opened his singles run with a 6-2, 6-3 victory over Chen Hui Ho but fell in the Round of 16 after splitting sets with Luis Llorens Saracho. The Milwaukee Classic continues Saturday, with Kudriashov scheduled for a singles quarterfinal match at 10:30 a.m. CT and the Kudriashov-Milburn doubles team competing in the quarterfinals at 8 a.m. CT.
