Blue Mountain Christian Finishes Second at Harding Invitational
SEARCY, Ark. — Blue Mountain Christian University’s men’s cross country team finished second at the Harding Invitational on Friday, highlighted by a top-10 performance from Jonah Barnhardt.
Barnhardt led the Toppers with a seventh-place finish, crossing the line in 21 minutes, 17.60 seconds. His performance contributed six points to the team’s total. Lukas Dykes was the second BMCU runner to finish, placing 11th with a time of 21:56.30.
Samuel Aguilar finished 21st in 22:50.90, followed by Austin Ellis in 25th at 23:11.10. Jacob Waller was 27th in 23:41.10, with Erick Flores close behind in 29th at 23:48.10. Braxton Enzor crossed 39th in 25:10.90, while Lelan Boulden finished 41st in 25:16.10.
John Thomas Draper completed BMCU’s scoring runners in 45th at 26:20.90, and Samuel Hutchinson finished 49th with a time of 29:57.60.
The team finished behind the winner but demonstrated strong performances across the field at the event.
