Blue Mountain Christian women finish second at Harding Invitational
Blue Mountain Christian University’s women’s cross country team finished second at the Harding Invitational on Friday in Searcy, Arkansas, according to the school. The Toppers posted a strong team performance in the event.
Ella Shepherd led the team, crossing the finish line sixth overall with a time of 19:45.80. She was the first BMCU runner to finish and earned six points toward the team score.
Kaedyn Wilson also finished in the top 15, placing 15th with a time of 21:01.10. Ally Moore was 20th at 21:36.90, and Jorja Kate Mooneyhan finished 21st in 21:44.60. Ruth Hutchinson rounded out the team’s scoring runners in 24th place at 21:58.50.
Lauren Paul finished 32nd with a time of 23:52.10, and Leah Montgomery was 35th in 25:15.80. The team’s top performers helped secure the second-place finish, behind the host Harding University.
