The Ole Miss men’s golf team is tied for first after 36 holes at the Bryan Bros Collegiate in Columbia, South Carolina. The Rebels shot a combined score of 13-under-par, with rounds of 7-under (277) and 6-under (278). Play was suspended due to darkness with several teams still competing, according to the university.
Leading the Rebels was Collins Trolio, who posted a 2-under 69 in the first round and a 4-under 67 in the second. The West Point, Mississippi, native is currently tied for third overall, just one stroke behind the leader, with a total score of 6-under par.
Eduardo Matarazzo also contributed significantly, opening with a 1-under 70 and following with a 3-under 69. He sits at 4-under overall, tied for seventh. Daniel Tolf improved throughout the day, ending at 2-under, tied for 12th. Cooper Claycomb finished at 1-under, tied for 19th, after a strong first round and a second-round 72.
Tomas Restrepo concluded the Rebels’ lineup at 8-over overall, with rounds of 6-over and 2-over. Finn Meister, competing as an individual, is tied for 45th at 3-over after shooting a 70 and a 75. Play will resume at 7 a.m. Central Time, with tee times starting at 8 a.m., for the final round.
