Ole Miss Men’s Golfer Collins Trolio Named SEC Player of the Week

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Collins Trolio of Ole Miss has been named SEC Men’s Golfer of the Week, the conference announced Wednesday. Trolio delivered a strong performance at the Bryan Bros Collegiate, posting a 205 (-8) over three rounds, his lowest 54-hole score as a Rebel.

The West Point, Mississippi, native recorded three rounds in the 60s and made 15 birdies during the tournament. He also drilled the final putt on hole 18 to help Ole Miss edge out No. 13 Arkansas and secure the team championship.

Trolio finished tied for second individually, his best finish at Ole Miss. He led all competitors on par-three holes, finishing 3-under par for the week. His clutch performance helped Ole Miss claim its first-place finish at the Bryan Bros Collegiate, held in South Carolina.
