Mississippi State to hire new baseball coach
Mississippi State will reportedly hire Indiana’s Chris Lemonis.
First reported by college baseball insider Kendall Rogers, MSU will move on from interim head coach Gary Henderson. Henderson led the Bulldogs to an unexpected run to the college World Series this past season.
Lemonis has coached the last 4 years at Indiana where he has a .611 wining percentage. His best Big Ten finish was 3rd.
BREAKING: I’m hearing from sources that @IndianaBase head coach Chris Lemonis will be the next head coach at @HailStateBB, and that top #HailState assistant Jake Gautreau will stay on staff. If that doesn’t change, I really like that duo.
