Northwest Mississippi Falls to Sixth in NJCAA Football Poll After Week Three Loss

The Northwest Mississippi Community College football team fell three spots to sixth in the latest NJCAA poll after losing 33-31 to Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. Gulf Coast moved up to fourth in the rankings, according to the NJCAA.

Three Mississippi teams are ranked in the top ten, with Northwest, Gulf Coast, and East Mississippi Community College, which is ninth. Itawamba Community College is 11th. Additionally, Copiah-Lincoln Community College, Pearl River Community College, and Jones College received votes in the poll, but are not ranked.
