Mississippi Christian Athletics Schedule Features Soccer, Golf, Tennis, Softball and Volleyball
Mississippi Christian has a busy week of competition ahead, with events spanning golf, soccer, tennis, softball, and volleyball, as the fall schedule unfolds. The week begins Monday with both golf programs in action. The women’s team competes in the Savannah Lakes Invitational in McCormick, South Carolina, while the men’s team takes part in the Dunning Invitational in West Point, Mississippi. Both tournaments run through Tuesday.
On Wednesday, both men’s and women’s soccer teams return home for a doubleheader against Christian Brothers. The women’s match starts at 1 p.m. at Robert P. Longabaugh Field, followed by the men’s game at 3:30 p.m. The tennis teams travel Thursday to Tyler, Texas, for the Tyler ITA Tournament, providing an early-season opportunity for players to compete individually and as teams.
Friday features three events on campus. Softball opens against Coastal Alabama Community College at 5 p.m., volleyball hosts Valdosta State at 6 p.m., and softball concludes the night with a matchup against East Central Community College at 7:30 p.m. On Saturday, volleyball plays at home against AUM at 2 p.m., while softball travels to Brandon, Mississippi, to face Northwest Florida State College at 1:30 p.m. The soccer teams close the week with road matches at Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee, with the women playing at 1 p.m. and the men at 3:30 p.m.
With five fall sports competing throughout the week, Mississippi Christian continues to build momentum early in the season across campus and on the road.
