Mississippi Christian Athletics is set for a busy week of fall sports action, with teams competing across multiple locations. The men’s golf team begins the week at the NCAA South/Southeast Regional Preview in Saint Leo, Florida, on Monday and Tuesday, providing an opportunity to face regional competition.
Meanwhile, men’s and women’s tennis will compete in the Gulf South Conference Individuals tournament starting Friday in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The event allows both programs to challenge GSC opponents during the fall season.
Volleyball returns to the court Tuesday at 6 p.m. against Union in Jackson, Tennessee. The team then travels to Huntsville, Alabama, for a match against Alabama Huntsville at 6 p.m. on Friday. Saturday features a full schedule of competitions for the Choctaws.
Both men’s and women’s cross country teams will race locally at the Belhaven Cross Country Invitational in Clinton beginning at 8 a.m. They will also have runners competing at the Louisville Cross Country Classic in Kentucky, starting at 9 a.m.
Back in Clinton, women’s soccer hosts Auburn Montgomery at 1 p.m. at Robert P. Longabaugh Field. Volleyball will travel to Montevallo for a 2 p.m. match Saturday, while men’s soccer concludes the weekend at home against AUM at 3:30 p.m.
With events spanning several sports and locations, the week offers the Choctaws a chance to build momentum as the fall season progresses.
