The Millsaps College men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams are aiming to outperform their preseason rankings after being placed seventh in the 2026-27 Southern Athletic Association polls. The polls, determined by league coaches, were announced Thursday by the SAA office.
The men’s team earned 18 points, with Trinity College leading the poll with 48 points and six first-place votes. Centre College received 40 points and one first-place vote. On the women’s side, Trinity was also picked first with 48 points and five first-place votes. Centre and Rhodes College tied for second with 40 points and one first-place vote each.
The Millsaps women’s team finished with 18 points and will look to improve its performance ahead of the conference championships. The SAA men’s and women’s championships are scheduled for Feb. 10-13 in Danville, Kentucky, hosted by Centre College.
