The week’s schedule includes golf regional previews in Saint Leo, Florida, on Tuesday, and tennis at the Gulf South Conference Fall Tournament in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, beginning Friday. No events are scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday.
Over the weekend, the Lady Statesmen soccer team opened their season with a 2-1 victory over the Tigers and are preparing for upcoming matches. The men’s soccer team will face Trevecca Nazarene on Saturday. Cross country runners will compete at Christian Brothers University in Memphis. The football team hosts Shorter University at Parker Field at McCool Stadium in Cleveland on Saturday night. Additionally, the swim and dive team will compete at the University of Alabama, also on Saturday.

Olivia Murphy and Austin Huffhines earned top honors in their swimming events, contributing to the team’s success.
