Southern Miss Men’s Golf Heads to Sun Belt Championship at Annandale Golf Club
The University of Southern Mississippi men’s golf team is set to compete in the Sun Belt Conference Championship at Annandale Golf Club in Madison, Miss. The Golden Eagles enter the tournament with a record of 110-27-0 and will participate in the first of three stroke play rounds Monday.
The championship will be held at the par-72, 7,177-yard course, which features water-lined holes and an island green on the eighth hole. The course was designed by Jack Nicklaus and includes rolling terrain and Scottish-inspired grassy bunkers.
The 14-team field begins play with a staggered start Monday morning. Southern Miss’s Walker Wise tees off at 8:30 a.m. on hole one, followed by teammates Supakorn Amornchaichan, Matthew Javier, Jake Moffitt and Benjamin Fernandez, each separated by nine-minute intervals. The team is paired with Arkansas State and Georgia Southern for the opening round.

Southern Miss’s lineup features Walker Wise with a stroke average of 74.56, and teammates Amornchaichan (73.81), Javier (71.56), Moffitt (70.74), and Fernandez (71.37). The event continues through Tuesday, with the final results determining the conference champion.
