HATTIESBURG, Miss. — Southern Mississippi football coach Blake Anderson addressed the media Monday at the Duff Athletic Center, previewing the Golden Eagles’ upcoming game at Auburn.
Southern Miss (1-0) defeated Alcorn State 49-3 in the season opener last Saturday. Auburn also opened its season with a win, beating Baylor 17-16 in Atlanta.
The game is scheduled for 6:45 p.m. Saturday at Jordan-Hare Stadium. The SEC Network will broadcast the game, with Matt Schumacker on play-by-play, Aaron Murray as analyst, and Taylor Davis reporting. The Southern Miss Sports Network’s pregame show begins at 5:15 p.m., featuring John Cox, Lee Roberts, and sideline reporter Jason Baker.
