Ole Miss Softball Finishes Season Ranked 25th in USA Softball/ESPN Poll

The University of Mississippi softball team ended its 2026 season ranked 25th in the final USA Softball/ESPN Top-25 poll, tying with South Carolina for the last spot in the rankings, according to the school.

The Rebels finished with 30 points and secured their second consecutive top-25 finish. They also received votes in both the D1Softball and NFCA final rankings, placing just outside the top 25 in those polls.

Ole Miss advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the tenth straight year. They won multiple rounds at the 2026 SEC Tournament and qualified for the NCAA Lubbock Regional. The team defeated Boston University twice and reached the regional final but fell to eventual national runner-up Texas Tech.

The Rebels’ season included a series of notable performances, with wins over ranked opponents and a strong showing in postseason play. Their efforts earned recognition and marked a successful season overall.
