Ole Miss Football Coaches and Players Attend SEC Media Days in Tampa

Tampa hosted SEC Media Days on Wednesday, where Ole Miss head coach Pete Golding and players Trinidad Chambliss, Kewan Lacy, and Will Echoles discussed the upcoming 2026 football season with regional and national media, according to the university’s athletics department.

The event marked the Rebels’ official kickoff to the season, which is less than 40 days away. The team’s representatives shared insights and expectations for the year ahead, as well as highlights of their preparations for the upcoming schedule.

Ole Miss shared social media posts capturing the day’s events, including photos of the coaches and players at media sessions. The university also promoted its official newsletter, The Sip, encouraging fans to stay updated on team news and behind-the-scenes content as kickoff approaches.

Ole Miss will open the season against Louisville on September 6 and has a series of games scheduled throughout the fall, including matchups against Charlotte, LSU, Florida, Vanderbilt, Missouri, Texas, Auburn, Georgia, Oklahoma, Wofford, and Mississippi State. Details of game times and broadcast plans have been announced separately by the SEC.
