Ole Miss Baseball Series Opener Against No. 5 Georgia Rescheduled for Saturday

The opening game of the series between Ole Miss and Georgia has been postponed due to inclement weather, the university announced Thursday. The game has been rescheduled for Saturday, April 25, with a doubleheader starting at 1 p.m.

The two teams will play two nine-inning games. The first pitch of the first game is set for 1 p.m., with the second game approximately 50 minutes after the conclusion of the first, according to Ole Miss athletics.

Tickets and parking for Friday’s game will be honored for the second game of the doubleheader. Likewise, tickets for the originally scheduled Saturday game will be valid for the first game of the doubleheader. Fans leaving between games should use Friday’s parking for the second game.

Current ticket holders do not need to buy new tickets. They can access their tickets via the Ole Miss Sports App or olemisstix.com to re-add the second game to their mobile wallets. The university advises fans to sign into their accounts to update their tickets, as automatic updates are not provided.

Ole Miss baseball fans are encouraged to follow the team on social media for updates. The Rebels are also promoting their loyalty program, Rebel Rewards, which offers prizes and experiences for attending games and events.
