Ole Miss to Play Doubleheader Against Texas A&M Due to Weather
The University of Mississippi announced that its baseball series against Texas A&M has been rescheduled to Saturday due to inclement weather forecasted for Sunday. The teams will play a doubleheader beginning at 2 p.m., with the second game starting approximately 60 minutes after the conclusion of the first.
Both games will be nine-inning contests. Tickets and parking for Saturday’s game will be honored for both games of the doubleheader. Ticket holders for the originally scheduled Sunday game will also be able to use their tickets for the second game on Saturday.
Fans planning to leave between games will need to use Sunday parking for game two. The university advised that all-in-one season tickets will not automatically update in mobile wallets, and fans should log into their accounts via the Ole Miss Sports App or olemisstix.com to re-add the second game to their mobile wallets.
Ole Miss is ranked 20th nationally and is hosting No. 9 Texas A&M in this final home series of the season. The series was originally scheduled for Sunday, but the weather prompted the change to Saturday’s doubleheader, according to university officials.
