Ole Miss Baseball Ranked No. 11 in Transfer Class by D1Baseball

The University of Mississippi baseball team has assembled a highly ranked transfer class, according to D1Baseball. The Rebels’ latest group includes 14 players from various programs across the country.

Among the newcomers are Trey Hawsey from Louisiana Tech, Caleb Koskie from Indiana, and Charlie Foster from Mississippi State. Hawsey, a junior from West Monroe, Louisiana, played 107 games for Louisiana Tech, hitting .315 with 24 home runs and 77 RBIs. In 2026, he started all 58 games and was named to the ABCA/Rawlings All-South Region First Team.

Koskie, a junior from Minnesota, played 70 games at Indiana, batting .332 with 51 RBIs. He hit .372 in 2026, with a 22-game hitting streak, the longest for a Hoosier since 2005. Foster, a junior from Georgia, made 22 appearances for Mississippi State, striking out 37 batters in 36.1 innings in 2026.

The class also features Sean Carey from Sacramento State, who worked primarily as a reliever, with 92 strikeouts over 78 innings in 2026. Other transfers include Jason Fultz Jr. from Clemson, Eli Pillsbury from Jacksonville State, and Rizy from LSU. The group is considered one of the top transfer classes in the country, ranking No. 11 by D1Baseball.

Ole Miss coach Mike Bianco praised the newcomers, emphasizing their experience and talent. The team aims to build on its recent success as it prepares for the upcoming season.
