Northwest Mississippi Rangers Set for 2026 CNFR in Casper
The 2026 College National Finals Rodeo will take place at the Ford Wyoming Center in Casper from June 14 to 20, and three athletes from Northwest Mississippi Community College are set to compete, according to the CNFR website.
Dakota Smith, a sophomore bull rider, will compete in bulls, broncs, and breakaway roping. He is scheduled to start Sunday afternoon in the second section of bull riding at 2 p.m. Central time. Smith will also compete Tuesday during slack and in the evening performance that night, with his second ride scheduled for that day.
Will Collier, a junior steer wrestler and three-time qualifier, will have multiple appearances early in the week. He will compete Monday afternoon in slack, return Tuesday morning for steer wrestling, and participate in the Tuesday night performance. Collier is listed as 6 feet 7 inches tall.
Chance Raegan will make her CNFR debut. She is scheduled to compete Monday morning at 8 a.m. and again Wednesday night as the final horse out in the second performance. Raegan is the only Ranger not competing Tuesday.
