Nine Ole Miss Student-Athletes Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors

OXFORD, Miss. — Nine student-athletes from the University of Mississippi’s track and field and cross country programs have received College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors for the 2025-26 season, the organization announced Tuesday.

Among the men’s team, senior Aiden Britt, junior Sterling Scott, and senior Carson Turner earned the distinction. Britt is pursuing a master’s in engineering science, Scott is studying multi-disciplinary studies, and Turner is majoring in computer science.

On the women’s side, senior Beth Arentz (master of business administration), senior Sophie Baumann (allied health studies), sophomore Lily Beattie (exercise science), senior Lizzie Hatton (general business), junior Akaoma Odeluga (political science), and senior Loral Winn (master’s in journalism) were honored. Scott and Odeluga are set to advance to the CSC All-American ballot.

The All-District team recognizes top student-athletes for combining athletic excellence with academic achievement. Those honored are eligible for the CSC All-America selection, with finalists announced in July. First-, second- and third-team All-America honors will be revealed July 14 for men and July 15 for women, according to the organization.

Additional coverage highlights Ole Miss athletes’ recent performances, including Alicia Burnett finishing fourth in the NCAA 100-meter final and Jordan Urrutia earning first-team All-America honors in the 200-meter dash.
