Mississippi Valley State to Play at Chicago Football Classic in 2026

Mississippi Valley State University is encouraging alumni, fans, and supporters to show their pride as the Delta Devils prepare for the 2026 Chicago Football Classic. The team will compete against Lincoln University (Pennsylvania) on Saturday, Sept. 12, at Soldier Field in Chicago.

The game is scheduled to kick off at 3 p.m. The event offers the university a platform to highlight its student-athletes and connect with alumni and HBCU football fans. It also promotes community engagement and academic achievement.

This year’s event carries added significance, as a portion of ticket sales will benefit Mississippi Valley State University, funding scholarships and additional opportunities for students. Supporters are encouraged to wear green and white to represent the Valley throughout Chicago.
