Mississippi State Volleyball Receives Multiple AVCA Academic Honors

LEXINGTON, Ky. — Mississippi State volleyball has been recognized with the AVCA Team Academic Award for the third consecutive year, the American Volleyball Coaches Association announced Thursday.

The award is given to programs that maintain at least a 3.30 grade point average throughout the academic year. The Bulldogs posted a 3.82 GPA during the spring semester, tying their highest GPA at Mississippi State.

In addition to the team award, Mississippi State earned a spot on the AVCA Team Academic Honor Roll, which recognizes programs with GPAs in the top 20% of their division. This marks the second straight year the Bulldogs received this distinction.
