Northwest Mississippi Community College Honors 157 Student-Athletes on Spring 2026 Honor Roll

Senatobia, Miss. — Northwest Mississippi Community College announced that 157 student-athletes have been named to its Spring 2026 Athletic Director’s Honor Roll, according to the college’s athletic department.

The list recognizes athletes who have earned a minimum of 12 credit hours and maintained a 3.0 GPA or higher during the semester. It also highlights teams with strong overall GPAs and features students with perfect 4.0 GPAs.

The college’s baseball team led all sports with 24 honorees. Women’s soccer followed with 19, and football had 18. Softball rounded out the top teams with 15 students recognized for achieving a 3.0 or higher GPA.

Other teams included volleyball with 12, men’s soccer with 11, women’s tennis with nine, and women’s basketball and rodeo with eight each. Women’s golf, men’s basketball, and men’s tennis each had seven student-athletes honored.

Forty-one students finished with a 4.0 GPA. Among them, six were from softball and women’s soccer each. Women’s tennis had five, while baseball, men’s golf, football, and volleyball each had four students with perfect grades.

Overall, the women’s tennis team posted the highest team GPA at 3.85. Women’s soccer was close behind with a 3.72, followed by softball (3.713), volleyball (3.712), men’s golf (3.7107), and women’s golf (3.7105). Eleven teams finished with GPAs of 3.0 or higher, led by men’s tennis at 3.53 and baseball at 3.32.

A full list of student-athletes on the honor roll, sorted by sport, is available. The college will release its President’s and Vice President’s lists for the spring semester in the coming weeks.
