Mississippi State Tops Braves 2-0 in Road Match

STARKVILLE, Miss. — Sophomore Annick Zouma led the Braves with two of their four shots in a 2-0 loss to Mississippi State on Friday night.

The Braves held their own for the first 34 minutes of the game before the Bulldogs broke through with a goal. Mississippi State added a late insurance score in the 67th minute to secure the victory.

Junior goalkeeper Bailey Perales faced 22 shots and made three saves. Renata Da Rosa came off the bench and recorded two saves. Zouma, along with Bridget Sakyi and Rebecca Kwoba, played the full 90 minutes for the Braves.

The Braves return home to face Northwestern State at 6 p.m. Thursday at Key City Park in Vicksburg, Mississippi.
