Mississippi State Punter Ethan Pulliam Named to Sporting News Preseason All-America Second Team
STARKVILLE, Miss. — Mississippi State punter Ethan Pulliam has been named to The Sporting News 2026 Preseason All-America second team, the publication announced Thursday.
The Sporting News is one of five outlets used to determine consensus All-American status at the end of the season.
Pulliam enters the 2026 season with a strong track record, following a record-breaking sophomore campaign. During the 2025 season, the Starkville native earned All-America second-team honors from Sporting News and was named to the Phil Steele All-SEC third team. He also made the SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll.
Pulliam punted 45 times for 2,104 yards last season, averaging a program-record 46.8 yards per attempt. His performance helped anchor the Bulldogs’ special teams unit.
