Mississippi College Volleyball Coach Bentley Odom to Present at 2026 Wilder Fitness Clinic
Clinton, Miss. — Bentley Odom, head volleyball coach at Mississippi Christian University, will serve as a featured presenter at the 2026 Wilder Fitness Multi-Sports Clinic on July 7-8. The event gathers coaches from across Mississippi and the Southeast for professional development and networking.
Odom, in her third season leading the Choctaw volleyball program, will lead four sessions during the two-day clinic. Her presentations include two classroom sessions and two on-court demonstrations focused on player development and program success.
The clinic begins Tuesday, July 7, in Grand Ballroom A with Odom’s talk, “Biggest Learning Curves from High School to the Collegiate Level,” from 1 to 2 p.m. She returns from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. to present “What’s Your Plan?: Fostering Intentionality in Your Program,” which emphasizes building team culture and purposeful coaching strategies.
On Wednesday, July 8, Odom will conduct two on-court demonstrations at Brandon High School. From 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., she will lead “Drills for Pressure on Individual Players,” followed by “Bentley’s Favorite 6-on-6 Games” from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Under Odom’s leadership, Mississippi Christian University has made consecutive appearances in the Gulf South Conference Tournament. Her participation in the clinic highlights her rising reputation as an emerging collegiate coach and provides an opportunity to share innovative strategies with coaches at all levels.
