Mississippi Christian’s Rafael Costa to Speak at 2026 MSA Soccer Symposium

Rafael Costa, head coach of the Mississippi Christian University men’s soccer team, has been selected as a featured speaker for the 2026 Mississippi Soccer Association Soccer Symposium. The event is scheduled for July 8 in Flowood.

Costa, who previously coached at Mississippi College, was named Gulf South Conference Coach of the Year in 2025. He is recognized for his leadership and impact in competitive environments, emphasizing accountability, effort, and consistency.

He holds a USSF C License and has coaching experience across collegiate, junior college, high school, and elite youth levels. Costa has also worked extensively with Mississippi Rush and in ECNL settings. Originally from the United Kingdom, he earned a bachelor’s degree in Football Studies from Solent University.

At the symposium, Costa is expected to share insights on building team culture, establishing daily standards, and player development. The event aims to promote leadership and collaboration among coaches, directors, and administrators in the sport.
