ELLISVILLE, Miss. — Jones College’s softball regular-season finale against Itawamba has been rescheduled for Friday, April 24, due to forecasted weather on Saturday, according to college officials.
The doubleheader was originally set for Saturday but will now start at 2 p.m. at Community Bank Park/Gwen Magee Field. The games will be streamed live at jcbobcats.com/watch, with Shawn Wansley calling the action.
Jones and Pearl River are tied for second place in the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference standings, each one game behind Co-Lin, the top team. The top two teams will host four-team regionals May 1-3. The winners will face off for the region title on May 6 at the higher seed’s home field.
