Jones College Bobcats Earn 76 NJCAA All-Academic Honors for 2025-26
Charlotte, North Carolina — A total of 76 Jones College student-athletes earned NJCAA All-Academic honors for the 2025-26 academic year, according to the college. The recipients posted a cumulative GPA of 3.60 or higher.
The Bobcats matched their previous year’s total of 76 honorees, with athletes recognized across three academic teams. The teams are distinguished by GPA criteria: First Team for a 4.00 GPA, Second Team for a 3.80-3.99 GPA, and Third Team for a 3.60-3.79 GPA.
Fifteen athletes made the First Team, including Tripp Alexander (men’s soccer), Heidi Clayton (women’s tennis), Hailey Duque (volleyball), and others. Thirty-one earned Second Team honors, such as Claire Andersen (softball), Riley Edwards (volleyball), and several football and soccer players. Thirty also received Third Team recognition, including Sarah Akins (volleyball), Christian Baglione (football), and multiple softball and volleyball athletes.
Overall, 3,800 student-athletes achieved the First Team honor with a 4.00 GPA, while 4,550 were named to the Second Team. The Third Team included 5,330 student-athletes, according to the NJCAA.
Jones College’s athletic director emphasized the importance of academic achievement among student-athletes. The college congratulated all recipients for their dedication both on the field and in the classroom.
