Hinds Community College Football Releases 2026 Schedule

Raymond, Miss. — Hinds Community College Football unveiled its 2026 schedule Tuesday, with 10 games scheduled for the upcoming season. The schedule includes five home contests at Gene Murphy Field at Joe Renfroe Stadium and several marquee MACCC matchups.

The Eagles open the season at home against Itawamba Community College on Thursday, Aug. 27. They will then begin conference play with road trips to East Mississippi, Pearl River, and Mississippi Gulf Coast. The season opener marks the first opportunity for fans to see the 2026 squad in action under the lights in Raymond.

Following the opener, Hinds travels to Scooba for a matchup with East Mississippi Community College on Sept. 3. The team returns home Sept. 10 to host Holmes Community College during Military and First Responders Night. On Sept. 17, they face Southwest Mississippi Community College on the road, and on Sept. 24, they host East Central Community College in Raymond for Sophomore Night.

The schedule continues into October with a road game at Mississippi Delta Community College on Oct. 1, followed by an away game against Pearl River Community College on Oct. 8. Homecoming is set for Oct. 15 when the Eagles host Copiah-Lincoln Community College. They then travel to Mississippi Gulf Coast on Oct. 22 before concluding the regular season at home against Jones College on Oct. 29 during Pink Out Night.

The 2026 schedule maintains the tradition of Thursday night football within the MACCC and offers multiple opportunities to compete against top conference programs. With returning players, new talent, and growing momentum, anticipation is high for the season kickoff in Raymond.
