Four Ole Miss Track Athletes Compete at 2026 USATF Championships in New York

Four Ole Miss track and field athletes competed last weekend at the 2026 USATF Outdoor Championships at Icahn Stadium in New York City, according to the university’s athletics department.

Jordan Urrutia advanced to the final of the men’s 200-meter dash after finishing third in his heat with a time of 20.72 seconds during Saturday’s preliminary round. Urrutia, the event’s youngest competitor, lined up alongside Olympians and top professionals, including Noah Lyles.

Urrutia finished seventh in the final heat of the 200-meter final on Sunday. Head coach Connie Price-Smith praised his performance, saying,
