Four Jones College Softball Players Named to NFCA All-South Region Team

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced the 2026 NFCA NJCAA Division II All-Region teams, featuring 78 student-athletes from 30 programs. Four players from Jones College were selected, with pitcher Madison Sawyer and outfielder Mabry Eason earning first-team honors, while first baseman Mary Kimble Price and outfielder Claire Andersen made the second team.

Madison Sawyer, a freshman from Saraland, Alabama, posted a 19-2 record with a save and a 2.58 ERA in 133 innings. She was named MACCC Pitcher of the Year and earned a spot on the All-MACCC First Team.

Mabry Eason, a freshman from Oxford, Mississippi, leads Jones with a .375 batting average, 14 doubles, 23 home runs, and 63 RBIs. She also made the All-MACCC First Team.

Mary Kimble Price, a freshman from Kosciusko, Mississippi, leads the team with a .411 batting average, 64 RBIs, and 72 hits. She has 17 home runs, 13 doubles, and a .978 fielding percentage. Price was also named to the All-MACCC First Team.

Claire Andersen, a sophomore from Wayne Academy, is batting .396 and has stolen 48 bases in 53 attempts, leading the MACCC and tying for seventh nationally. She earned All-MACCC Second Team honors.

The awards recognize softball student-athletes from the NFCA’s three NJCAA Division II regions, with first- and second-team selections made by head coaches from each region. All honorees are now eligible for inclusion on the 2026 NFCA NJCAA Division II All-America teams, which will be announced June 2.
