Belhaven Volleyball Predicted Sixth in CCS Preseason Poll
The Belhaven volleyball team was selected to finish sixth in the 2026 Collegiate Conference of the South preseason poll, released Monday by the conference. The Blazers received 14 points in the seven-team poll.
Asbury University topped the poll with 35 points and five first-place votes, while Covenant College was second with 32 points and two first-place votes. The poll also includes LaGrange College, Huntingdon College, Piedmont University, and Agnes Scott College.
Belhaven returns nine players from last season, including seniors Megan LaCour and Kayla Robinson. LaCour led the team with 268 kills and ranked seventh in the conference with 2.53 kills per set. Robinson finished second in the CCS with 482 digs and averaged 4.23 per set. The team also ranked second in service aces with 268 and was among the top four in points, assists, and blocks per set.
The roster features returning players such as McKenna Matthews, Mickeyla Sitsler, Kylie Lindsey, Maggie Joy Tomlin, Cami Davis, Tarryn Woodall, and Jordyn Crenshaw. Six freshmen join the team for the upcoming season. Last year, Belhaven finished with a 12-21 record overall and went 7-9 in conference play.
