Belhaven Men’s Golf Finishes Seventh at CCS Championship
DALTON, Ga. — Belhaven University’s men’s golf team finished seventh at the CCS Championship on Wednesday after three rounds at Dalton Golf & Country Club. The final round was played in challenging weather conditions, with rain and wind affecting scores across the field.
John McIntosh, a sophomore, posted a 74 (+2) in the final round, tying for eighth among individual competitors. His score helped him climb to a 14th-place finish overall. McIntosh maintained consistency throughout most of the round, recording multiple birdies on the front nine.
Gannon Williams, a senior, shot an 80 (+8) to finish 28th, while senior Andrew Scherer posted an 81 (+9), placing 27th. Levi Turner, a sophomore, completed his round with an 84 (+12), finishing 29th. Freshman Andrew Rogers added an 86 (+14), ending the tournament in 35th.
