Holly Springs gets win over Mooreville at Robertson’s Challenge
Holly Springs continues to rack up wins this season.
The Lady Hawks picked up a quality win over Mooreville on Saturday at the Robertson’s Sportswear Challenge by a score of 42-31.
Holly Springs used stifling defense as the bedrock on which they built their win, holding Mooreville to under 5 points total in the 2nd and 4th quarters.
An Ashanta Aldridge 3 pointer late sealed the game for the Lady Hawks.
Julia Vaughn led with 13 points. Aldridge had 11.
The victory moved Holly Springs to 16-6 on the year.
The Lady Hawks have a big district game Tuesday against Indepence as they try to position themselves for the playoffs.
