Fayetteville, Ark. – Ole Miss men’s tennis player Vlado Jankanj has advanced to the main draw of the ITF M15 Fayetteville tournament. The sophomore defeated Memphis’s Marko Milosavljevic in straight sets Tuesday to secure his spot.

Jankanj, who battled through a competitive first set, won 6-4 before clinching the match with a 7-5 tiebreak in the second set. With the victory, he moved into the Round of 32, where he is scheduled to face Pablo Martinez Gomes on Wednesday.

The match marked a significant milestone for Jankanj, who is competing in his first ITF tournament of the fall season. Ole Miss athletics confirmed the win via social media, with the player set to continue his run in Fayetteville.
