ELLISVILLE — The planned Homecoming parade through campus and downtown Ellisville has been canceled because of a significant rain forecast that includes a high risk of flooding, according to event organizers.
An alternative schedule has been set for Homecoming activities, as rain could impact reunions, the court presentation, alumni luncheon, and pregame events with the Typhoon band.
The Homecoming football game against No. 2 Mississippi Gulf Coast is still scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday. Tickets cost $11 online at jcbobcats.com/tickets or $15 at the gate with cash or card. The game will be streamed live at jcbobcats.com/watch, according to school officials.
Organizers advised attendees to monitor updates, as weather conditions could still affect other planned activities.
