Hinds Community College announces baseball schedule

Year two of the Dan Rives era of Hinds Community College baseball is set to begin on Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2023 when the Eagles host John Melvin University Junior Varsity for a 2 p.m. first pitch.
 
Hinds, in 2022, reached 30 wins for the first time since 2017 and was one win away from the Region 23 championship game in Poplarville.
 
The 2023 schedule includes 25 playing dates that total 46 games for the Eagles. Hinds will play at Joe G. Moss field 28 times and be on the road for 18 games.
 
Conference play for the Eagles begins on Saturday, March 11 when Hinds will play host to East Mississippi Community College in Raymond. First pitch for that double-header is set for 2 p.m.
 
The final regular season date falls on Friday, April 28 when the Eagles host Holmes Community College in Raymond. The double-header against the Bulldogs will begin at 2 p.m.
