Women’s Golf Places Seventh at Rhodes Invitational

The Mississippi University for Women women’s golf team shot rounds of 314 and 327 for a total of 641 at the Rhodes Invitational held Saturday and Sunday at the par-71 Links at Audubon course in Memphis, Tennessee, according to the school.

Senior Ashley Estabrook led the Owls, tying for 18th place with scores of 76 and 79 for a total of 155. This marked her eighth time as the team’s top finisher at an event and the 12th top-20 finish of her MUW career, the school said.

Freshman Reagan Darden was the second-best scorer for MUW, finishing tied for 26th with rounds of 77 and 82 for a total of 160. Fellow freshman Isabel Velasquez also scored 160, tying for 29th place after rounds of 78 and 82. Senior Addi Campbell finished 41st with scores of 83 and 84, totaling 167. Senior Lindsey Reinsnyder shot 88 and 85 for a total of 173, tying for 49th.

Reagan Hammack, competing as an independent, posted rounds of 97 and 96 for a total of 193, the school added.
