The William Carey University men’s golf team finished the three-round Invite at Innisbrook in Palm Harbor, Florida, with team scores of 302, 302, and 304. The Crusaders were led by Ethan Holway, who shot a 72 in the first round, and Chance Elston, who posted the team’s low score of 72 in the final round.
Holway finished tied for 34th overall with a total score of 225. Ligabue, who shot 75 in each of the first two rounds, ended tied for 52nd at 227. Elston improved in the final round with a 72 to finish tied for 64th at 228. Max Seidemann posted the team’s best score in the second round, a 73, and finished tied for 85th at 234. Aubrey Jones concluded play tied for 93rd with a total of 236.
The Crusaders return to action Oct. 12 at the Gibson Bay Invitational in Richmond, Kentucky, hosted by Lindsey Wilson.
