Jackson State Golf Team Heads to Memphis for Magicians on the Green Tournament

Jackson State’s golf team is competing in the Magicians on the Green Tournament in Memphis on Monday and Tuesday. The Tigers are participating in their second consecutive week of action, returning after a fourth-place finish at the TheeILove Intercollegiate at Refuge Golf Course last week.

The tournament is held at The Links at Pine Hill, a regulation 18-hole course with a yardage of 6,196. The course features a par of 71, a course rating of 67.2, and a slope of 110. It was established in 1932 and underwent renovations in 2022 by architect Marc Messier.

Seven teams are competing, including Jackson State, which will face LeMoyne-Owen (host), Fisk, Lincoln (Mo.), Henderson State, NW Mississippi, and Central State. Power carts are available, and walking is permitted on the course.
