Troy edges Southern Miss in Sun Belt tournament semifinals

Southern Miss’ run in the Sun Belt Conference tournament ended with a 78-70 loss to Troy in the semifinals. Isaac Taveras scored a career-high 32 points for the Golden Eagles.

Southern Miss Edges Kent State 66-65 on Last-Second Free Throws

Isaac Taveras hit two free throws with one second remaining to lift Southern Miss over Kent State in a close game Saturday. The Golden Eagles secured their third home win of the season and improved to 13-13 overall.
